Nextel.io is an early-stage SaaS platform that is defining how companies communicate with their customers. Through our customer engagement software, built on top of WhatsApp's Business API, Facebook and Instagram APIs, businesses can easily engage with their customers in-real time - at scale! Nextel.io is looking for a motivated, intelligent, and driven professional to join our team as an Account Executive. The Account Executives play a critical role in the company's success by developing the top of the sales funnel. As an early member of our team, you'll have a unique chance to tackle a green field opportunity and shape the future direction of the team. You will gain experience interacting with clients of all levels, in a variety of industries, and across a broad geographical area. This is a challenging, exciting role that will test your sales skills, strategic thinking capabilities, and ability to remain focused and follow through on plans. We fully support our best team members to become leaders in the team, progress into Management roles, or into marketing and other various positions. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Understand clients' businesses and help them accordingly 2. Apply use-cases to the relevant clients 3. Identify key decision makers and business pain points, and articulate how Nextel.io can address 4. Partner with our sales executives to help fill their pipeline and develop your skills 5. Schedule quality appointments and ensure a smooth handover from the Sales Executive 6. Transform sales opportunities into repetition by educating and nurturing them 7. Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales teams to execute on lead retention and target account strategies 8. Meet and/or exceed client retention goals for meetings set, activity, and opportunities added to the funnel
