LGSF STURCTURE DESIGN ENGINEER

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore for an LGSF Structure Design Engineer. The role involves designing Light Gauge Steel Frame (LGSF) structures, preparing detailed engineering drawings, and performing structural analysis to ensure safety, durability, and compliance with relevant codes. The engineer will work with CAD tools to create layout plans, connection details, and fabrication drawings, and collaborate with project managers, civil and mechanical engineers, and site teams to integrate designs into overall project plans. Daily tasks include reviewing client and project specifications, optimizing designs for cost and performance, coordinating with vendors and fabricators, and supporting design revisions during construction. The engineer will also participate in design reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of design standards and workflows. Qualifications • Strong Design Engineering skills with experience in structural design, especially LGSF or similar steel structures. • Background in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering disciplines, with understanding of structural behavior and load calculations. • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or similar tools) for creating detailed drawings and models. • Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles relevant to building services coordination is an advantage. • Experience in Product Design or system-level design, focusing on manufacturability, installation, and lifecycle performance. • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or related Engineering field from an accredited institution. • Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations for steel and modular structures. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and drawings. • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and on-site project stakeholders. • Ability to work full-time on-site in Indore and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
